3-time All-American Wrestler from Arizona State returns to the mat pain-free following hip arthroscopy and removal of loose bodies
I saw a few different doctors and the doctors at AHI made me feel like this was where I needed to go and have it done. After the surgery, I haven't felt any locking up, I am able to do a lot of these motions and not feel the same type of pain.
I'm Michael McGee, I am a wrestler from Chicago, Illinois. I went to Arizona State, 3-time All American. I have been dealing with hip issues from 2021-2022. I got cortisone shots on both hips and after a while it got worse. After my hip was locking up and causing me a lot of discomfort and pain, I decided I definitely needed to get it taken care of. I think the doctors at AHI were really cool, I mean they just made me feel more comfortable. I saw a few different doctors and the doctors at AHI made me feel like this was where I needed to go and have it done. He was able to fix the labrum and do the microfracture, while cleaning up the loose bodies, so I am just very thankful he was able to make that call and do what was best. After the surgery, I haven't felt any locking up, I am able to do a lot of these motions and not feel the same type of pain. I would definitely recommend AHI to athletes because I just feel like they are very thorough.
