Five-Year Outcomes and Return to Sport of Runners Undergoing Hip Arthroscopy for Labral Tears With or Without Femoroacetabular Impingement.

Are you an avid runner with hip injuries? We are often asked by runners in clinic about their likelihood of returning to running after a hip arthroscopy. We have just published our data on this to help educate our patients. American Hip Institute’s recent study on hip arthroscopy and runners was published in the highly accredited American Journal of Sports Medicine. Our findings show a high rate of patients return to running with AHI hip arthroscopy technique, and 100% of high school runners in this series were able to return to running.
